Question

Why it comes that RInsert and RCreate commands refuse to work?

Answer

Both of them requires a special printer device. The device name and its settings depends on AutoCAD version:
  • In case of AutoCAD LT CADRaster looks for device named Default System Printer, which is automatically added while installation of AutoCAD. If you do not remove such device you should not meet any complications. There is nothing more to set in this case except the lines width.
  • If you are using AutoCAD R14 you should add printer device named CADRaster Rasterizer based on CADRaster Printer Driver - by Tessel Systems.
  • AutoCAD R13 lets you to add a printer device based on CADRaster Printer Driver - by Tessel Systems by first run after CADRaster installation.
If you have chosen different name than CADRaster Rasterizer or you have more than one device based on CADRaster Printer Driver you can select a required device to being used in RInsert and RCreate from CADRaster configuration dialog.
