"Archive of real estate technical documentation" on the Internet

Introduction

This demo database provides access to technical documentation archive for a single building or a group of buildings and documentation of reparation and modernization works. Additionally there is a possibility to use dynamic presentation created with HyperDoc program based on structural plans collected in the archive.

1. The "Buildings" hierarchy

The "Buildings" hierarchy consists of current real estate technical documentation archive. This hierarchy has two levels: buildings and floors. There can be the following types of documents connected for each building or floor: construction plans, electric installation project and computer network project.

2. The "Cases" hierarchy

Documents that the archive consists of have been changed. Some renovation and modernization have been made. "Cases" hierarchy gathers renovation /modernization activities documentation and helps keeping archive documents up to date. Attributes: a case number, an object number, a subject and a date of creation that describe the case, enable identification of project, the case is concerned. If an existing technical documentation has changed, HyperDoc keeps subsequent versions of document content. It can be used to follow a history of document changes and to recover to some earlier version if necessary.

3. The "Facilities" hierarchy

The example of "Facilities" application shows advanced HyperDoc capabilities as far as creation of graphical application are concerned. "Facilities" hierarchy consists of buildings, floors and facilities. Any facility is described by the following parameters: a number, an area, a number of rooms, a tenant's name, his telephone number, a state of facility's property and its description. The main goal of "Facilities" application is searching and graphic presentation of facilities that match some specified requirements.

Dynamic presentation of "machines" and "extinguishers"

Condition of the machines and extinguishers, which are in the building, can be represented graphically. In the "Equipment" hierarchy select the ground floor of A12 building as an active one. In the documents window click on the menu icon and select the Set Presentation option and pick machines or extinguishers - according to your needs. The machines for instance can have valid warranty or not. Machines on the ground floor drawing that have assigned adequate values of "status" field will be marked according to the legend displayed for this drawing.

4. The "Facilities" hierarchy

This hierarchy presents the HyperDoc possibilities in creating graphical applications. The hierarchy consists of buildings, floors and facilities. Each facility is described with the following properties: number, area, number of rooms, by whom it is rented, their phone number, status of the facility and description. HIS provides the ability to search and graphically represent facilities that satisfy given criteria. Each facility defined in that database must have graphical representation - in that case - a polygon.

"Facilities state" dynamic presentation

State of facilities can be also presented dynamically. Select as the active object a ground floor of A12 building, still in "Facilities" hierarchy of course. On "View" menu choose "Filtering - Facilities" command. All ground floor facilities on the drawing that have assigned some value to "state" attribute have been colored according to the legend that is displayed on that drawing.
